Sparks is a kids club at Bethesda Baptist Church, Rogerstone. The club is aimed at children (3yrs to 5yrs). Sparks meet term - time on Fridays from 5-6pm. Facilities and refreshments are available for Parents/carers who wish to remain during the session.  All children are required to be collected by a named responsible adult. Sparks has a strong Christian focus.  The activities during the evening include singing, listening to bible-based stories/themes, playing games, making craft items related to theme, and having a snack (usually squash and a biscuit).

Sparks is run by members of Bethesda Baptist Church who have been approved by the Leadership Team of the Church. All the youth leaders have up to date DBS checks, are First Aid trained and have up to date relevant food hygiene certificates. .Bethesda Baptist Church has a Safeguarding Children Policy. In the event of a parent / carer having any concerns about the welfare of their child in relation to the church, they should contact the Designated Person for Safeguarding.

There is no charge for attending Sparks, However, there is a basket for any voluntary monetary contributions towards the refreshments
